Enhanced External Counter Pulsation treatment was officially launched on 9th August 2015 at the Tirunelveli Government Medical College Hospital, marking an important milestone in expanding access to advanced non invasive cardiac care in Tamil Nadu. Ramasamy, Director of Vaso Meditech Pvt Ltd, and Mr. Bindhu Madhavan IAS, Chief Advisor of Vaso Meditech Pvt Ltd and Retired Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The launch of Enhanced External Counter Pulsation strengthened the hospitals commitment to providing advanced treatment options for patients with coronary artery disease, chronic angina, and other cardiovascular conditions. The therapy improves blood circulation to the heart by using synchronized external compression of the lower limbs, encouraging the development of natural collateral blood vessels and supporting better heart function without the need for surgery.
