Chennai, 17th September 2017 A Mega Cardiac Camp was conducted at Teynampet, Chennai by the Bharatiya Janata Party Tamil Nadu Unit and dedicated to the Honourable Prime Minister of India Thiru Narendra Modi on his 68th birthday. The camp witnessed participation from Indian Railway Minister Shri Piyush Goyal and BJP Tamil Nadu State President Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, who appreciated the efforts of the organizers in promoting preventive cardiac healthcare and public awareness. The mega health initiative was jointly conducted by Vaso Meditech Heal Your Heart Division, Apollo Hospitals, and Prime Indian Hospitals with the objective of providing accessible heart screening and expert consultations to the public. Leading heart specialists and healthcare professionals offered guidance on preventive cardiology, lifestyle management, and non invasive treatment options including EECP therapy for coronary artery disease. The event also created awareness about advanced cardiac wellness programs available at trusted heart centers, helping patients understand safe and effective alternatives for managing chronic heart disease without surgery.
EECP THERAPY uses a proprietary technology to inflate and deflate a series of pneumatic cuffs enclosing the lower extremities of the patients. Treatment is administered on a padded table in which three sets of electronically controlled inflation and deflation valves are located.
